Dr. Fahim Paigham is a global health strategist and founder of Afghanistan’s NCD Department, advancing equity, resilience, and pleasure‑based approaches in HIV prevention, mental health, and humanitarian programming to empower vulnerable communities worldwide.
The Pleasure Project Fellowship advances pleasure‑based approaches to sexual and reproductive health within humanitarian programming. Dr. Fahim Paigham integrates dignity, equity, and resilience into nutrition, RMNCAH, HIV prevention, mental health, and psychosocial support services. Through research, training, and community partnerships, the project reframes health interventions around joy, care, and human connection. By centering pleasure and empowerment, it strengthens sustainable solutions that improve reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health outcomes, while fostering resilience and equity for vulnerable populations worldwide.
