My proposed project is a pleasure-centered drag performance and workshop series that invites trans, non-binary, and queer people in Costa Rica to explore their sexuality, desires, and gender expression through the transformative power of drag. In a country where queer and trans bodies are often hypervisible yet invisibilized in terms of rights and joy, this project aims to create liberatory, creative, and affirming spaces to reclaim pleasure.
