Damian founded his own adult pleasure product business over 15 years ago, retailing online and specialising in accessible products for the disabled and impaired making pleasure and intimacy available to everyone. In 2021 Damian qualified as a sex educator to further expand his knowledge. He started looking into what education and advice was available for the disabled community and opportunities soon arose for podcasts, online seminars, group sessions and training sessions. He now advises adult toy companies on how to adapt their products and marketing to be accessible to the disabled community. Damian is a huge advocate for breaking down the taboos and barriers associated with sex and disability. Everyone is entitled to experience pleasure and it must be realised that it can be done in so many different ways. As someone with a disability, Damian wants to see the topic of sex and disability stop being a taboo.
During the Pleasure Fellowship, Damian worked on a proposal related to a Sex and Disability podcast. In this proposal, Damian hopes to break down the stigmas and change the narrative with regards to people with disabilities and their sexualities and pleasure.
Currently, Damian is working as an inclusivity consultant with pleasure product companies to make their products more inclusive. Likewise, Damian is also working with sex education companies running sessions for disabled adults who received none or very little sex ed at school.
Highlights 
The project consists of a series of podcasts discussing Sex and Disability.
Each episode will feature a different guest and look at various aspects of the topic. The aim is to break down the stigmas that still exist around this subject and also help disabled people discover that being disabled does not stop them from being sexual and having pleasurable sexual experiences. The content will also be put on other social media channels to reach a larger audience.
“It was really daunting experience to start with, meeting so many different people. It helped me come out of my shell a bit, helped me make contacts, helped with my confidence talking about pleasure a bit more. Which I already did, but it gave me a different perspective on certain things as well”
